Here's a rarer, hard-to find, France and Son Model 168-4 Teak four seat sofa. Made in Denmark, 1960s. Curved tapered legs, and stunning curved back rest slats, make this sofa look great from any angle!
There's a lot of controversy online as to who designed this sofa. Some say Charles France himself founder or France & Son, is responsible, others say Grete Jalk did, as it is almost identical to her Model 118 (I have a 118-3 for sale as well) except this one has upholstered armrests.
Sofa is 96"W x 31"h (27.5H to top of Teak) x 29"D
Seat: 16.5"H x 18"D
This sofa received a complete overhaul!
Solid Teak frame has been professionally refinished in lacquer. All new cushions, arms and sofa deck with new foam and reupholstered in a high performance fabric by JF Fabrics (Pattern: Lucas, Color: 64J8291 (https://www.jffabrics.com/fabric/lucas-64/)
Lucas is a stylish plain linen textured woven, light turquoise hue, great for any busy home with its high quality and low maintenance FibreGuard technology.
Fabric samples for mail or to take home are available by request.
There is some slight wear on the high points of the front scalloped edge as pictured.
This item is available for pick up in South West Edmonton within 7 days of purchase or $150 Delivery Fee within the Edmonton area. (delivery fee will be higher on this sofa as it doesn't not fit in my SUV)
