Rare find! late 1960s Space Age chromed arc floor lamp. Some say it is a Robert Sonneman design but I have only been able to find one example online and there were a couple subtle differences. Either way, super cool!
The domed base must weigh about 50 to 60 lbs and is incredibly difficult to lift. The arch is one solid piece and attaches to the round shade at the top. You can then move the stem from side to side to position the shade where you want it. The side profile of the shade is oblong shape, slightly larger towards the base and narrows to the front. Operates with a chrome foot pedal switch and plug has been replaced with a new polarized one.
If you are 6' tall or under, you can easily walk under this lamp when positioned in your living room. Would also look great tucked in a corner and positioned over a dining room table.
76"H x 82"L (Arch reach) x 12"Dia (Shade)
There's a small dent on bottom of shade and small scratch on upper shade as pictured.
